Originally from Cornwall, England, I lived and worked in Malmö, Sweden, and Auckland, New Zealand, before finding my way to the United States in 2006 — first to Telluride, CO, and then San Diego, Calif. in 2009.
Favorite adventures from the 40+ countries I have visited over the years include learning to scuba dive in Dahab and a two-night felucca trip on The Nile in Egypt, crossing the Salar de Uyuni from Bolivia to Chile in a Toyota Land Cruiser, trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, a two-month surf trip along Mexico's Pacific Coast, and snowboarding in Hokkaido, Japan.
When not on the road, you'll find me at the beach, in the high desert, checking out an art exhibition (pre-COVID), hanging with friends in San Diego, or with my boyfriend and our two cats at our house in Bay Park.
“In the end, she became more than she expected. She became the journey, and like all journeys, she did not end, she just simply changed directions and kept going.”
