Originally from Cornwall, England, I lived and worked in Sweden and New Zealand for several years before finding my way to the United States in 2006 – first to Telluride, CO, and then San Diego, California in 2009.
Favorite adventures from the 50 countries (and counting) I have visited include learning to scuba dive in Dahab, Egypt and a two-night felucca trip along The Nile, crossing the Salar de Uyuni from Bolivia to Chile in a Toyota Land Cruiser, trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, riding horses on Easter Island, a two-month backpacking surf trip along Mexico's Pacific Coast, and snowboarding in Hokkaido, Japan.
When not on the road, you'll find me at the beach, in the high desert, checking out an art exhibition, hanging with friends in San Diego, or with my boyfriend and our two cats at our house in Bay Park.
“In the end, she became more than she expected. She became the journey, and like all journeys, she did not end, she just simply changed directions and kept going.”
