Originally from Cornwall, England, I lived and worked in Malmö, Sweden, and Auckland, New Zealand, for several years before landing Stateside in 2006 – first to snowboard in Telluride, Colorado, and then for the beach life in Encinitas, California, in 2009.
Favorite adventures from the 50+ countries I have visited include learning to scuba dive in Dahab, Egypt, and a two-night felucca trip along The Nile, crossing the Salar de Uyuni from Bolivia to Chile in a Toyota Land Cruiser, trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, riding horses on Easter Island, a backpacking surf trip along Mexico's Pacific Coast, and snowboarding in Hokkaido, Japan.
When not on the road, you'll find me at the beach, in the high desert, hanging with friends in San Diego, or my boyfriend and our two cats at home in Bay Park.
“In the end, she became more than she expected. She became the journey, and like all journeys, she did not end, just simply changed directions and kept going.” - R. M. Drake
