Originally from Cornwall, England, I spent several years living and working in Malmö, Sweden, and Auckland, New Zealand, before landing in the U.S. in 2006—first to Telluride, Colorado, and then Encinitas, California, in 2009.
My travels have taken me to over 50 countries, with standout adventures including learning to scuba dive in Dahab, Egypt, crossing Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni by Land Cruiser into Chile, trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, riding horses on Easter Island, backpacking and surfing along Mexico’s Pacific coast, and snowboarding in Hokkaido, Japan.
When not on the road, I enjoy spending time at beach, in the Mojave Desert, hanging with friends in San Diego or my boyfriend and our two cats at home in Bay Park.
“In the end, she became more than she expected. She became the journey, and like all journeys, she did not end, just simply changed directions and kept going.” - R. M. Drake
